		<description><![CDATA[<p>The Great Lakes Council of the Federation of Fly Fishers is hosting their annual fly fishing school and conclave at the Macmullan Center on North Higgins Lake (near Roscommon) from June 19 to June 21. The yearly event includes opportunities for instruction at both beginner and intermediate levels, fly tying workshops, local angling trips, lectures and demonstrations, and lots of commraderie. The cost is very reasonable, and options include lodging and meal packages.  Space is limited. Contact Jim Schramm, 231-869-5487, or vistit the website: www.fffglc.org.</p>

Three levels of instruction are offered &#8212; beginning, intermediate, and advanced.The student-to-instructor ratio is held to 4-to-1, and the instructors are experienced and patient anglers. This year represents the 39th year that the school has been in operation, so they have &#8220;worked the bugs out&#8221; of the curriculum.</p>
